The East Somerset Railway has released the latest update on steam locomotive 5239 Goliath.
Progress has been made in a number of areas on 5239 Goliath over the past few weeks.
All of the crown stays from the locomotive have now been removed from the boiler. The Firehole patch is now fully welded in place.
The bunker is also making good progress. Lots of rivets have now been fitted into the steel profiles.
Its brilliant to see progress being made on this locomotive, and we look forward to more updates in 2019.
