Steam locomotive in Lincoln this Saturday – where and when to see it!

Steam locomotive No.6233 Duchess of Sutherland will be back in steam on the mainline and will be in Lincoln on Saturday 8th December 2018.

The Duchess locomotive is on a special rail tour from London Kings Cross to Lincoln.

6233 Duchess of Sutherland will depart London Kings Cross at approximately 09:08 am.

The railtour will then leave the London Kings Cross, bound for Lincoln Central, where it will steam through Finsbury Park (09:14), Potters Bar (09:30), Welwyn Garden City (09:44), Stevenage (09:59) and Sandy (10:17) before arriving into Peterborough at 11:10.

After a 2-minute break, the locomotive will depart Peterborough for Lincoln, where it will pass through Spalding (11:38), and Metheringham (12:18).

6233 will arrive into Lincoln Central at 12:57.

On the return trip, 6233 Duchess of Sutherland will depart Lincoln at 18:50 and will pass through Newark North Gate (19:19), Grantham (19:40), Peterborough (20:15), Sandy (21:31), Stevenage (21:52), Welwyn Garden City (22:04), Potters Bar (22:15), Finsbury Park (22:37), West Hampstead (23:15) and Acton Main Line (23:32).

6233 Duchess of Sutherland will arrive into its final destination of Ealing Broadway at 23:39.
