Steam locomotive No.48151 will be back in steam on the mainline and will be in Hellifield on Sunday 16th December 2018.
The locomotive is hauling a Santa Special from Lancaster to Blackburn.
The locomotive will depart Lancaster at 11:12 am and will head via Carnforth (11:22), Wennington (11:48), Clapham (12:04), Long Preston (12:26), Hellifield (12:40), Clitheroe (13:40), Whalley (13:47) and Langho (13:52) before arriving into Blackburn at 14:10.
The return railtour will leave Blackburn, bound for the Lancaster, where it will steam through Cherry Tree (14:48), Preston (15:11), Lancaster (15:40) before arriving into Carnforth at 15:54.
