The Nene Valley Railway has announced that A1X No.B662 Martello will be visiting the line for their Southern Steam Event.
The gala will be held on the 9th and 10th March 2019.
This steam locomotive is visiting the Nene Valley Railway thanks to the Bressingham Steam Museum.
Martello will be working brake van rides from Wansford to Yarwell and short Freight demonstrations around Wansford.
Martello joins 34081 '92 Squadron' and visiting 926 ‘Repton' at the event, one not to be missed!
The visit of Martello, built in 1875 by the London, Brighton and South Coast Railway, is subject to the completion of its overhaul.
