Steam locomotive 6233 Duchess of Sutherland on the mainline this Friday – where and when to see it!

Steam locomotive No.6233 Duchess of Sutherland will be back in steam on the mainline and will be in Oakham and Melton Mowbray on Friday 21st December 2018.

The Duchess locomotives are on a light engine movement from the Nene Valley Railway to the Midland Railway Centre at Butterley.

6233 Duchess of Sutherland will depart the Orton Mere at approximately 10:40 am.

The locomotive will leave Orton Mere, bound for Butterley, where it will pass through Stamford (11:14), Oakham (11:34), Melton Mowbray (11:52), Syston (12:27), Sileby (13:24), Loughborough (13:31), East Midlands Parkway (13:39), Toton Centre (13:50), Langley Mill (14:07) and Butterley M.R.C at 14:16.
