This weekend is the Great Central Railway's Last Hurrah Gala and will see 70013 Oliver Cromwell's last gala appearance before its boiler ticket expires.
The weekend will see an intensive timetable in operation, with freight and passenger trains both featuring.

Joining 70013 Oliver Cromwell (appearing courtesy of the National Railway Museum) will be LMS Black 5 No. 45305 (appearing for the first time following overhaul), 92214 ‘Leicester City', 8F No.48624, Standard 5 No. 73156 and ‘Peak' D123.
If you are thinking of attending, then the ticket prices for your visit are:
- Adult: £22
- Seniors: £21
- Children: £10 (aged 5-16 inclusive)
- Family Ticket: £46 (2 adults & up to 3 children)
- £32 (1 adult & up to 3 children)
- Under 5s: Free of charge
This is a brilliant chance to have a ride behind one of the locomotives in action and to say farewell to 70013 Oliver Cromwell.
