The Llangollen Diesel Group has announced that one of their locomotives is up for sale following a decision at their AGM.
Class 37 6940 has been offered up for sale following the difficult decision to reduce the groups fleet size.
This decision has been based on the careful appraisal of the locomotives condition. The sale is immediate where it is seen parked at Llangollen's MPD.
Expressions of interest should be made by emailing publicity@llangollen-diesels.org.uk.
Inspection of the locomotive will be offered to potential purchasers at the group's discretion and by agreed appointment.
