The Ffestiniog Railway has announced that they have had to cancel all trains this Friday – 12th October 2018.

This is due to the heavy rain and winds (up to 70 mph) forecast for Porthmadog and the surrounding area tomorrow.

Due to this expected severe weather, which is associated with #StormCallum, the decision has been made to cancel the planned train service between Porthmadog and Blaenau Ffestiniog tomorrow.

Arriva Trains Wales has also cancelled trains on the Cambrian Coast Line (Machynlleth – Pwllheli via Barmouth and Porthmadog) and the Conwy Valley Line (Llandudno – Blaenau Ffestiniog). So please do check before travelling.

There is no confirmation of whether trains will resume on Saturday yet. However, we expect this will be due to if any damage is caused or not.
