Steam locomotive 9466 – where and when to see in Princes Risborough this Saturday

Steam locomotive 9466 will be back in steam on the mainline and will be in and around Princes Risborough on Saturday 20th October 2018.

The locomotive is on a special railtour on Saturday, 20th October 2018. 9466 is hauling The Dennis Howells Memorial Train. The tour sees the steam locomotive steam through High Wycombe on its way to Princes Risborough.

The train, hauled by the steam locomotive, will depart Drayton Green at approximately 10:15 am.

The tour will pass through Greenford West Junction at 10:21 and South Ruislip at 10:31 before arriving into West Ruislip at 10:36.

From West Ruislip, the tour will head via Gerrards Cross (12:09), High Wycombe (12:21), Saunderton (12:28) and Princes Risborough (stop at 12:33) before arriving into Princes Risborough ACE at 12:39.

On the return trip, the steam locomotive will depart Princes Risborough ACE at 15:40 before heading via Princes Risborough (15:45 and 15:51), Saunderton (15:59), High Wycombe (16:06), Gerrards Cross (16:18), West Ruislip (16:46), South Ruislip (16:43) and Greenford West Junction (16:53) before arriving into Drayton Gren at 17:04.
