The North Norfolk Railway has announced that 7F 53809 will no longer be available to take part in their upcoming Home Fleet Running Weekend.
The 7F has been undergoing a major overhaul at Weybourne Locomotive Works. The locomotive has been undergoing its testing stage over the past week to make sure it is ready to return to normal passenger service.
However, a problem has been found during testing that will require attention before the locomotive is released back into service.
53809 has been immediately released by the M&GN Joint Railway Society's WD No. 90775.
The lineup of locomotives now includes 92203, 1744, 564, 76084, 8572, 90775 and 20227 together with shunting locomotives assisting.
Freight trains and intensive timetable will be in operation throughout the weekend. One to visit if you are in the area.
