The Swanage Railway has announced that Bulleid 34053 Sir Keith Park has returned to passenger service following repairs.
'53' has been out of service for the past 4 months whilst staff see to work on her axleboxes, motion and more.
34053 joined 80104 on the 2 pm service as part of her running in, following this she hauled the 16:40 ex Swanage on her own.
Sir Keith Park will be in service this weekend using the Swanage Railway's Blue Timetable.
It is now hoped that 34053 Sir Keith Park will now be the 8th locomotive to appear at ‘The Exchanges' Autumn Steam Gala – held between 12th and 14th October 2018. This is yet to be confirmed yet.
