The Lynton and Barnstaple Railway have announced that their most recent steam locomotive gala was their most successful to date.
More than 100 volunteers turned up to make sure the gala went without a hitch.
Locomotive ‘Lyd' visited from the Ffestiniog Railway to double head with new build ‘Lyn' for the very first time – a real preservation moment.
The intensive timetable proved popular with visitors and the gala was a fantastic success.
Well done to all of the Lynton and Barnstaple Railway team for such a successful event.
