The 6880 Society has released a small update on the work to build steam locomotive 6880 Betton Grange.
Work has progressed with the boiler. A new tube plate has now been fitted to the new front boiler section.
Firebox stay work has now been completed as well as the above boiler work.
Work on the vacuum pump has now begun to refurbish it back into working order.
