Govia Thameslink Railway has announced that an extra 200 services will be introduced each weekday on Thameslink and Great Northern from Monday 10 December 2018.
There will be an additional 32 peak and 170 off-peak services operating. Most current services already in the timetable remain unchanged.
This boost in services takes the total number of trains a day to 3,600, from 3,400 in July.
Additional peak services will operate across the network from Cambridge, Peterborough, Brighton, St Albans, Horsham, Rainham, Luton, Orpington, East Grinstead, Bedford and on the Wimbledon loop.
Elsewhere on the GTR network, most Southern and Gatwick Express services will remain unchanged and there will be no change to weekend services.

Steve White, Chief Operating Officer of GTR, said:
“Many passengers will benefit from more frequent services thanks to 200 extra weekday services on Thameslink and Great Northern.
“I would like to thank our customers for their patience as these improvements have been phased in and thank our staff for their hard work making this happen.”

Does that include Thameslink trains that could possibly be going to Ashford International.
Plus Great Northern should start using the Class 717 to Hertford North, Welwyn Garden City, Stevenage and Letchworth Garden City. As only few are currently operating between Moorgate-Gordon Hill on a Friday because of driver training.
