Boxing Day trains from Chiltern Railways

Chiltern Railways has released their plans for train travel on Boxing Day when normally railway stations are closed.

There is nine weeks until Christmas, the train operator wants to help passengers to plan how they spend their festive period by announcing details of a special train service between Oxford Parkway and London Marylebone.

Chiltern is allowing residents to access the capital and help Londoners to escape the city and do some shopping in Bicester.

Trains will run from approximately 08.00 – 20.00 and will call at Oxford Parkway, Bicester Village, Haddenham and Thame Parkway, Princes Risborough, High Wycombe, Beaconsfield, Gerrards Cross and London Marylebone.

The first northbound train will depart from London Marylebone to Oxford Parkway via Bicester Village Station at 08.00. The last train departing London Marylebone at 20:15 terminating at Princes Risborough at 20:58.

Southbound, the first train will run from Princes Risborough to London at 08.40. The last will run from Oxford Parkway via Bicester Village Station to London Marylebone at 20.35 arriving at London Marylebone at 21.52.
