Steam locomotive No.70000 Britannia to haul services at the Severn Valley Railway this weekend

The Severn Valley Railway has announced that steam locomotive 70000 Britannia will be hauling passenger trains this weekend.

70000 Britannia will be hauling trains between Bridgnorth and Kidderminster and joins 43106, 50035 and 7714 on the locomotive roster.

The ‘Britannia' locomotive will be hauling trains under BS3, which is the 11:10 and 15:25 departures from Kidderminster, and the 13:30 and 5:40 departures from Bridgnorth on Saturday 29th September 2018.

On Sunday 30th September 2018, Britannia will be hauling the 10:15 and 14:15 departures from Kidderminster and the 12:05 and 16:05 departures from Bridgnorth.

There is no need to book a ticket, just turn up and pay on the day of your visit.

Don't worry if it is cold, all trains have steam heating to keep you nice and warm.
