The Apedale Valley Light Railway has announced that the bank holiday visitors were drawn to newly restored steam locomotive No.303.

Unfortunately, the bank holiday weather wasn't too good for the classic car event (the railway will try again next year!)

However, the railway still ran trains over the three day weekend, with No. 303 in action. The locomotive was completed in 2018 and first appeared at the Tracks to the Trenches event.

The locomotive drew in the passengers, hauling them in the crowds throughout the weekend.

The locomotive is planned to be used at the railway's Armistice event on November 10 & 11.
