As the West Somerset Railway Autumn Steam Gala approaches, one of their visiting steam locomotives (73082 Camelot) will be making a rare appearance on the national network.

Standard Class 5 No.73082 Camelot is expected to make its way to Bishops Lydeard from East Grinstead on Tuesday, 18th September 2018

Currently, there is no Standard Class 5 which is able to work on the mainline. This makes the movement, albeit with a diesel in front of it, rare.

It is expected that the duo will depart East Grinstead at around 08:45 am. Arriving at Bishops Lydeard at 3:56 pm.

The locomotive will pass through Clapham Junction (10:01), Reading (12:16) and Bristol Temple Meads (14:26).
