As the West Somerset Railway Autumn Steam Gala has come to an end, one of their visiting steam locomotives (73082 Camelot) will be once again making a rare appearance on the national network.

Standard Class 5 No.73082 Camelot is expected to make its way to East Grinstead from Bishops Lydeard on Monday 1st October 2018.

Currently, there is no Standard Class 5 which is able to work on the mainline. This makes the movement, albeit with a diesel in front of it, rare.

It is expected that the duo will depart Bishops Lydeard at around 15:06. Arriving at East Grinstead at 23:12.

The locomotive will pass through Yatton (15:59), Bristol Temple Meads (16:19), Bath Spa (16:59), Swindon (18:03), Didcot Parkway (19:24), Reading (19:49) Slough (20:08), Ealing Broadway (20:39), Clapham Junction (22:01), Selhurst (22:25), East Croydon (22:30), and Hurst Green (22:54).
