The North Bay Railway, in Scarborough, has unveiled locomotive Poseidon in her new livery after her overhaul was completed.

Poseidon has been restored to full working order by Nick Skelton and the team of engineering staff and volunteers at the North Bay Railway.

Thanks to a generous donation from Chris Yeoman and his family, she has now been fully repainted by the Victoria Road Car Body Shop.

I’m sure you will agree, she looks absolutely superb.

Little details like the A3 marks, the RA 9 marks, and the shed code can be seen on the cab and the buffer beam – making it look really smart.

Why not see Poseidon for yourself this weekend at the North Bay Railway’s annual gala. All locomotives will be in action, including Poseidon, who has been made ready for the gala.
