Keighley and Worth Valley Railway announce 2019 Diesel Gala & Mixed Traffic Weekend

The Keighley and Worth Valley Railway have announced that they will be holding a Diesel Gala & Mixed Traffic Weekend in 2019.

This special weekend will be held across the Early May Bank Holiday Weekend from the 3rd May 2019 until the 6th May 2019.

Friday 3rd May 2019 and Saturday 4th May 2019 will be diesel only, and then the diesels will team up with steam locomotives for Sunday 5th May 2019 and Monday 5th May 2019.

In 2018, the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway welcomed back the Diesel Days during their 50th Anniversary Gala.

After the success that this brought, the Diesel Gala will return in 2019.

Details of this are still to be announced, but we expect that visitors to the gala will be announced in due course, along with an intensive timetable throughout the weekend.
