The Doncaster P2 Locomotive Trust have launched a Crowdfund page in order to raise funds towards building a replica of LNER P2 No.2001 “Cock O' The North”.
What will the funds raised be spent on?
The Crowdfunding page seeks to raise £20,000, with the money being used to carry out further work on the mainframe.
The first parts for the frame have been cut and delivered to the Trust, but further parts and more machining work are needed.
Once funds for the framework have been raised, the Trust can set up their second Crowdfunding page for the next stage of work they wish to carry out.
Supporting the Trust
There are a number of ways you can support the Doncaster P2 Locomotive Trust in building 2001 “Cock O' The North”. This rangers from becoming a member of the trust, to sponsoring components or volunteering on the sales stand or the building side of the project.

Raising funds to build replica P2 steam locomotive 2001 COCK O’ THE NORTH.
The Crowdfunding page has been closed. In its place ‘The Denison Club’ has just been launched. It is open to 100 people who will give £1,000. (see website: http://www.cockothenoryh.co.uk for details of instalment plans).
Alongside this is ‘The Machining Fund’ open to those who give £100. There is no limit on people for this one.
