The Welsh Highland Railway has announced that Caernarfon station will have reduced access later this week as civil engineering works take place.
Between Wednesday 29th August 2018 and Tuesday 4th September, there will be no step-free access to the station. Access to the station will be via a flight of steps only.
For passengers travelling from Caernarfon, the railway is recommending that passengers with reduced mobility should start their journey from Dinas, here, you will find a waiting room and free parking.
For passengers travelling from Porthmadog, the railway is recommending to travel on the Ffestiniog Railway, which is unaffected by the work, or travel to or from Dinas as above.

Caernarfon booking office will be open as usual during this disruption. There will be no changes to the planned scheduled Welsh Highland Railway services. Services on the Ffestiniog Railway are unaffected by these works.
