Steam locomotive hauled trains will feature alongside classic cars, motorcycles and commercial vehicles will be on show at the fourth annual Skegness ‘Classic Wheels' show on Sunday 16th September 2018.
The show, which takes place from 11 am and 4 pm in the Skegness Water Leisure Park, will see visitors able to take a ride behind steam locomotive, Jurassic, on the Lincolnshire Coast Light Railway.
Jurrasic returned to steam in 2017 with the help of a £43,000 grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund.
Trains will also operate with heritage diesel locomotives based on designs made for the British Military of World War One.
The classic cars on display include Jaguar, Bentley, Austin, Riley and BSA, among others.
The cars and other vehicles form part of private collections and are rarely displayed to the public.
Helicopter rides will be available (for a separate fee). Booking in advance is recommended (via Central Helicopters).
Visitors will be able to travel in a carriage built for the Ashover Light Railway in Derbyshire in 1924. Volunteers have restored it and now reads ‘Lincolnshire Coast Light Railway'. HRH The Princess Royal travelled in this coach when she made a visit to the railway in 2017.
The show will be open from 11 am to 4 pm. Enterance costs just £2 for adults and £1 for children, all in aid of the Skegness Lifeboat Station and the Lincolnshire Air Ambulance.
Trains also will run from 11 am to 4 pm (with Jurassic operating from lunchtime) and fares of just £1 (adults and children) will support the Railway's conservation work. Additionally, steam trains will also operate the day before the show, on Saturday 15th September 2018.
