CANCELLED – Steam locomotive 70000 Britannia to run test runs this week!

Update 28/08/2018 at 3 pm: We have been informed that all paths will not be hauled by 70000 Britannia – sorry for any inconvenience!

Update 28/08/2018 at 10 am: This mornings path has been cancelled. Please check other paths before heading out!

Steam locomotive No.70000 Britannia will be out on the mainline and be completing test runs as its overhaul repairs come to an end.

Please note: these are test runs which may be subject to change or cancellation at the last minute. Please check before heading out to see 70000 Britannia.

On Tuesday 28th and Wednesday 29th, August 2018 will see the locomotive operating on the mainline between Crewe and Chester.

The test runs will be operated by Locomotive Services TOC Ltd, who are connected to – who own 70000 Britannia.

Running twice on both days, 70000 Britannia will operate via Beeston Castle between Crewe and Chester. Timings can be found below for timings for each day:
