Paragon ID, who is the leading provider of train tickets, has announced that Haydn Ward, Research and Development Project Manager for Paragon ID, has made just one of eight national finalists in the Young Manufacturer of the Year category of the Manufacturer’s MX Awards 2018.
He has been recognised as an individual who has demonstrated a strong understanding of his manufacturing environment.
Haydn joined Paragon ID in 2016 as part of the Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) with Hull University.
Two years on, he is now the Research and Development Project Manager for the company, becoming an integral part of the division that has manufactured over 3 million tickets that are used worldwide.

“It’s a real honour to be nominated for the Young Manufacturer of the Year award and I certainly haven’t taken being shortlisted for granted. Knowing that my work has been commended by my colleagues and that they have gone to the effort to submit an entry on my behalf really does give me a renewed sense of confidence as I continue to move forward and take on new challenges during my career.”
