The A1 Steam Locomotive Trust has announced that the planned steam test of 60163 Tornado at the Nene Valley Railway will not be going ahead.
The team is approaching the final stages of assembly, but currently, the locomotive is not ready for a test run.
It is anticipated that the test runs will take place during the first week of September, this follows after various independent inspections which need to take place.
The A1 Steam Locomotive Trust will announce when the test running will begin, and we will produce an article when it is announced when they will be taking place.
