100s of passengers travel on Groudle Glen Railway to Cliff Top Concerts

The Groudle Glen Railway have announced that their annual Cliff Top Concerts were a massive success.

Hundreds of guests travelled on trains to Sea Lion Rocks station to enjoy a day full of live music.

Performances began at 11 am with local singer/songwriter Jeff Jepson performing inside the tearooms. Matt Creer following Jeff at Midday.

At 1pm performances went outside with the Birds and the Beards taking to the stage for an hour. Truman Falls them at 2 pm.  Rounding off the event were Shenannigans Banned.

The railway said:

We would like to thank all the performers for going to the extra lengths to take part in such a remote location, to all the audiences who attended throughout the day as we hope you had a wonderful visit and a grateful thanks to the Isle of Man Arts Council for once again supporting the event.
