The group building new build steam locomotive, No.61662 Manchester United, has given a short update as to the work being carried out.
Splashers for the locomotive has seen good work continued last week, with the locomotive becoming more and more locomotive like in appearance.
The group has seen the original water pipes and valves for their LNER tender delivered, which is a big step forward.
Progress on the new build locomotive is continuing well, but the group still need funding for the rest of the locomotive, which includes the boiler. If you would like to donate to the fund, please click here.
