The Severn Valley Railway has announced that passengers will be able to join them for an enjoyable summers day visit for a steam locomotive hauled tasting train.

For 2018, the heritage railway is running wine and whisky experiences using their luxurious first-class carriage, which was once hauled by Flying Scotsman.

You will be accompanied by an informative yet informal member of staff for you to have an overview of the beverages on offer.

The price for a Whisky or Wine Train is £50 a person, this includes tickets for the tasting train and also a Freedom of the Line ticket for the whole day.

The Wine Train

The Wine Train will depart Kidderminster and Bridgnorth on the 21st July 2018 at 3:25 pm and 5:40 pm respectively. Your experience will start with a glass of fizz to get the session started. You will be able to taste five wines, each with tasting notes.
