Where and when to see steam locomotive No.46100 Royal Scot this weekend

Steam locomotive Royal Scot will be back in steam on the mainline and will be in and around Shrewsbury on Sunday 10th June 2018.

The locomotive is on a special railtour on Sunday, 10th June 2018. 46100 is hauling the Welsh Borders Explorer. The tour sees the steam locomotive steam through Chester and Shrewsbury on its way to Telford Central.

The steam locomotive will depart Crewe at approximately 11:05.

The railtour will then leave Crewe, bound for Telford Central, where it will arrive at 13:15.

The tour will steam through Chester at approximately 11:39, it will have a stop of around 10 minutes at Wrexham General, arriving at 11:58 and departing at 12:10, and then will head for Telford Central, steaming through Shrewsbury at around 12:49.

On the return trip, the steam locomotive will head via Stafford to get back to Crewe, arriving back at 15:00.
