What did the official say?

Simon Blanchflower, Thameslink Programme director, , said:

“I'm delighted that we are once again supporting this wonderful event organised by Team London Bridge, which puts our newly officially reopened and redeveloped station at the heart of the community, providing visitors, commuters, residents and businesses alike with a chance to sample the very best food from local chefs and restaurants based in and around London Bridge.”

Nadia Broccardo, Chief Executive, Team London Bridge, said:

“London Bridge Open Kitchen is a celebration of the wining, dining, snacking and supping that can be found in the area today, but also of the heritage of food trade we have. To have found a home beside the fabulous new station this year makes it extra special and a chance for our local food and drink purveyors to be creative on a new public stage for the capital.”
