The East Lancashire Railway has announced a few changes to the steam locomotive rosters due to unforeseen circumstances.

The East Lancs Railway has apologised for any inconvenience caused, but I'm sure you will still have a brilliant day out going through the Irwell Valley.

On Sunday 17th June 2018, the first service of the day will be hauled by a steam locomotive, but it will then be changed for an available diesel locomotive.

On Friday 22nd June 2018, steam locomotive No.32 Gothenburg and Class 14 D9531 (if available) will be hauling passenger trains throughout the day.

6990 Witherslack Hall will be hauling the passenger trains on Saturday 23rd June 2018.

On Sunday 24th June 2018, the first service of the day will be hauled by a steam locomotive, but it will then be changed for an available diesel locomotive.

Visiting GWR tank No.813 will be hauling passenger trains on Friday 29th June 2018.

Have a great day out at the ELR if you are attending!
