The 5305 Locomotive Association have announced that, unfortunately, their planned open day at Loughborough Works has been cancelled.
The open day was set to take place on the 7th July 2018 at the Great Central Railway.
for those who don't know, the 5305 Locomotive Association maintain and operate 45305 Alderman A E Draper, 70013 Oliver Cromwell, 30777 Sir Lamiel, D123 Derbyshire and Leicestershire Yeomanry and D6535.
It is hoped that they will be able to hold the open day at a rescheduled date later in 2018.
What did the officials say?
The Paul White, of the 5305 Locomotive Association, said:
‘We are extremely sad and sorry to announce this'
