Network Rail has released time-lapse footage of the recent project to improve the railway in Bradford, which took place over the Bank Holiday Weekend.

Over 100 workers carried out the upgrade around the clock to make sure trains were running as normal on Monday. In total, around 2000 hours went into the project over the weekend.

The work removes restrictions on which trains can use which platform at the station and means more flexibility for trains arriving at Bradford Interchange.
