On the 2nd and 3rd, June will see the Leighton Buzzard Railway host their annual Ale Trail. This year, the event has been organised with help from the Leighton Buzzard Brewing Company and there will be a wide variety of beers and ciders at both ends of the line.
The Engine Shed Bar at Page's Park will provide an indoor seating area where customers will be able to enjoy a pint whilst surrounded by steam engines. The Bottom Year Beer Hall at Stonehenge Works will offer an outdoor viewing point to see the departing trains and the collection of internal combustion locomotives.
Beer and cider will be being served from 10:45 am at both sites and there will be hourly trains between Stonehenge Works and Page's Park, this will include special evening trains on the Saturday until 1815.
Hot food and soft drinks will be available in both bars. There will also be free parking at Page's Park for designated drivers.
For those travelling to the Leighton Buzzard Railway via public transport, the D1 bus will be running regularly to Page's Park from the town centre and railway station until 1730.
The entry price for this event is free with a train ticket, or just £2 if you are attending the Page's Park Engine Shed Bar only.
CAMRA members who purchase tickets on the day will receive a £2 discount per member on production of their membership card.
