Greater Anglia has teamed up with UK charity, Sarcoma UK – The Bone & Soft Tissue Cancer Charity, to hold a special auction.

The special auction closes on the 14th May 2018, so make sure you get your bids in. To bid on one of these opportunities, all you need to do is send your bid to nicola.garwood@greateranglia.co.uk

They are raising money for Sarcoma UK, who are the bone and soft tissue cancer charity, in memory of Norwich City Football Club super fan, Michelle Dack.

There are 3 opportunities to donate to this great cause using three ways of having footplate rides, listed below.

Steam locomotive footplate ride at the

This is a generous auction item donated to the cause by Peter Howard of the North Norfolk Railway. Your opportunity to have a drivers eye view of the North Norfolk Railway onboard one of the railway's fleet of locomotives.

Please note: this footplate ride cannot be used on special event days.

Class 37 cab ride

Your chance to ride up top with a driver on the Class 37 trains in Norwich. This is your chance to ride on one of these locomotives before they make way for brand new trains in 2019.

You can choose the date of your ride (subject to availability of the train crew)

Class 321 cab ride

Your chance to ride up top with a Greater Anglia driver on the Class 321 trains on the Greater Anglia network.

You can choose the date of your ride (subject to availability of the train crew)
