Over the past few months, the Great Central Railway – Nottingham has seen work being done to create a temporary Booking Office at Ruddington Fields.
The aim was to give a focal point for the operation of trains from Ruddington Fields to Loughborough.
The new booking office has been open since February unofficially, although, the final touches inside have now been completed.
The new office will, in the future, make way for a station building including booking facilities, tea room, waiting room and a gift shop .
In the meantime, the railway is now able to offer hot and cold drinks and ice creams along with selling passengers their tickets.
The new range of services includes Teas, Coffees, Soups and more along with a selection of cold drinks and Walls ice creams.
