The Mid Suffolk Railway have announced some exciting new attractions for its 2018 edition of ‘Middy in the War’.
Weather permitting, the MSLR will be hosting a flypast of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Hawker Hurricane.
The Hurricane will be appearing over Brockford Station early on Sunday Afternoon (6th May 2018) – make sure you don’t miss out!
Another special exhibit the Mid Suffolk Railway have confirmed is a genuine Sherman Tank, which will be at the railway for both days of the event.
The tank will be this year’s event focal point for the displays of military vehicles from the 40s.
These announcements, along with a programme of re-enactments, exhibitions, and passenger & goods trains running from 11 to 4 pm – Middy in the War Years 2018 is shaping up to be an event fit for all the family.
Middy in the War Years 2018 is on the 6th and 7th May 2018.
