Test trains started on March 6th (Tuesday), the route being Crewe to Chester and return, twice. Icon of Steam’s LMS Royal Scot Class No. 46100 “Royal Scot” was used.

These trains allowed staff, both footplate and support crew, to go over procedures and ensure safe operation of trains hauled by Locomotive Services TOC.

All six trains proved successful, with more test trains to follow soon.
