The Mid Hants Railway (The Watercress Line), in Hampshire, has announced that Thomas the Tank Engine will return to the railway with ‘A Day Out With Thomas’.

The event will feature new funfair rides and a unique food tasting offering. It is certainly an event not to be missed this Easter.

The event will be from the 30th March until 8th April 2018. Unlimited trips can be taken up and down the line behind Thomas the Tank Engine, including Toad the Brake Van.

Children will also have the opportunity to meet the Fat Controller and take part in other themed activities.

Free fun experiences will be taking place at Ropley Station including Horton’s Steam Fair vintage swing boats and chair-o-place rides. A Thomas-themed entertainer, the miniature railway, and a story corner will all be found here.

A huge amount of local delicacies will be on offer including the Cookie Bar Bus.

Broughton Water Buffalo has been inspired by the Watercress Line, and it will be featuring watercress with its gluten-free burgers and sausages at the event.

For all those sweet-toothed tots, Fat Sam’s Ice Cream van will be on offer at Alresford Station.
