Network Rail is advising rail passengers in East Yorkshire to check before they travel as the next stage of the Great North Rail Project gets underway.
Network Rail will be upgrading the signalling system on the line between Ferriby, Gilberdyke, and Saltmarshe.
The signalling will be re-controlled from local signal boxes at the line side Rail Operating Centre in York.
The project will see a list of benefits for passengers, including increased reliability and flexibility.
The GNRP will also mean improvements in safety at level crossings along the route.
Are trains affected?
To allow the work to be carried out, buses will replace trains between Hull, Selby, and Goole on Sunday the 18th February 2018. Passengers are advised to plan ahead and use National Rail Enquiries to check disruption and/or train changes.
