The Lynton and Barnstaple Railway, in Devon, has announced that they have won a top award at the HRA Annual Awards Dinner, which was held on the 10th February 2018.
What award did they win?
The award in which the Lynton and Barnstaple won was The Morgan Award for Outstanding Achievements. This was for the new build steam locomotive Lyn and her associated carriages.
The Lynton and Barnstaple Railway has thanked the Heritage Railway Association and the editors of the four main railway magazines, for making this award.
They have also thanked everyone who made it possible by efforts large and small in locations far and wide.
Everybody has helped in some way to contribute toward them building their own £1.5m train set.
