Ivatt 2 Tank No.41312 is returning home to the Mid Hants Railway (MHR) (The Watercress Line) after spending roughly four months at the .

41312's Stay at Swanage

Over the four-month period 41312 stayed at the Swanage Railway, the tank has proved popular with both staff and visitors to the Line. The engine has been used alongside home fleet locomotives to hauling both regular and special trains.

Brief History of 41312

41312 is based at the MHR, where it's last overhaul was undertaken and completed in Spring 2016.

41312 was allocated to the Southern Region for the whole of its short career on British Railways.
