The Ecclesbourne Valley Railway, in Derbyshire, has announced that Class 08 No. 08704 is visiting the line for their Diesel Locomotive Weekend.
The visit is with thanks to the Riviera Trains. They specialise in railtours and coaching stock for use on railtours around the country.
The Diesel Locomotive Weekend is taking place on the Saturday 17th March and Sunday 18th March 2018. More information will soon be announced. We will update you with more news as it becomes available.
An intensive timetable is expected to be in operation over the weekend, with 08704 taking part alongside other locomotives over the weekend, including ‘Onslaught' from the East Lancashire Railway.
