Class 33 confirmed for Great Central Railway Diesel Gala

The has announced that Class 33 No. 33035 is the special guest for their Diesel Gala in April.

About 33035

33035 was built in the early 1960s for British Railways.

The engine worked roughly 35 years before being withdrawn from service in the late 1990s.

Preserved and currently owned by Pioneer Diesels, 33035 carries BR Blue with Full Yellow Ends and Small Double Arrow.

Diesel Gala

This event takes place on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th of April. Up to 8 diesels are planned to be running for this event.
