The Bittern Line and Wherry Lines Community Rail Partnerships have launched a series of free guided walks in Norfolk and Suffolk.

The walks are free to train ticket holders and will be held on Sundays throughout 2018. This is a great way to keep your New Years resolutions up throughout the year.

All walks start from a Greater Anglia station, with the first one taking place last weekend (Sunday 21st January 2018), where the walk started from Haddiscoe.

The walks will be between three and seven miles long. Dogs are welcome on the walks and on train services.

The walks will be via country lanes, woodlands, broads and the coastline.

A leaflet detailing every walk is available from Norwich Railway Station

What did the officials say?

Paul Haynes, Greater Anglia's Community Rail Partnerships Manager, said: “This is a great opportunity for people to stay healthy, get some fresh air and explore Norfolk and Suffolk. We are very grateful to the Bittern and Wherry Lines Community Rail Partnerships for organising these events.”
