East Midlands Trains has given an update to the public about the facilities at Nottingham railway station after the fire caused damage last week.

All ticket machines at the station are now fully operational. Customers are able to buy tickets or collect their pre-booked tickets through these machines.

The ticket office was unfortunately damaged in the fire, so it remains closed until further notice. Customers are advised to buy their tickets before boarding the train.

Information screens are now up and running on the platforms and concourse. The car park is now open to use, too.

Additional customer toilets have also been put in place for customers to use at the station.

What about the rest of the damage to Nottingham railway station?

Further information on the repairs to the southern concourse will be available once work to assess the extent of the damage has been completed.
