Train Operating Company (TOC), Heathrow Express, has announced it has been named as the Best Rail Operator at the Business Travel Awards 2018.
The Business Travel Awards ceremony took place on Monday 22nd January 2018. Richard Young collected the award for Heathrow Express.
The awards recognise achievements by organisations in the business travel industry. The Best Rail Operator award goes to the train company offering excellent service to business travellers. This is from booking their ticket to travelling on the train to their destination.
This award follows on from Heathrow Express being named ‘North Star Air Rail Link of the Year'. They won this at the Global AirRail Alliance (GARA) in November 2017.
What did the officials say?
Fraser Brown, Heathrow Express Director, said: “We're delighted to be named Best Rail Operator which is a testament to the hard work of our whole team to offer the speed, convenience and comfort we know business travellers appreciate.
“In 2017 Heathrow Express reached the historic milestone of carrying 100 million passengers, of which we estimate 60 million were business travellers, so it's fantastic to be recognised by that sector.”
