The P2 Steam Locomotive Company have employed an assistant engineer to help carry out the work involved with building steam locomotive P2 No. 2007 “Prince of Wales”.

Fundraising for the new P2 has been very successful, with the funds for many components having been raised. Due to this, the drawings used in the construction of components can’t be produced fast enough.

This has lead to the decision to employ an assistant engineer to help produce drawings faster to meet the funds raised.

The recruitment process was carried out with Teesside University, with the company welcoming Daniela Filova to their team.
